Please find attached materials concerning the Day Of Prayer for Eastern Christians which takes place on the Sixth Sunday of Easter ( May 9th). I am sure, like me, you were inspired by the recent Visit of the Holy Father to Iraq and understand how important it is that we hold these beleaguered Christian communities in our regular prayer.
Please pray for Canon Matthew George’s mother who is very seriously ill in India and for Fr Matthew and other members of the family at this time.
Please pray for Fr Simon Leworthy’s father who died last Monday and for Fr Simon and the rest of his family in Australia at this time. May he rest in peace.
